Our Vision

AAGEs vision is to:

• present achievements of African-Americans (cultural, political etc.)
• provide support to children of mixed heritage to create a feeling of identification with their African-American culture, advise them on how to cope with being a minority in Germany and giving them a place where they can be together to create a feeling of unity
• establish an African-American culture centre
• gain public recognition
• provide a home base for adults and children where they can get support with solving issues of being a minority group
• provide perspectives to youth through activities such as sports, music, etc. present seminars concerning African-American as well as African culture
• attract public attention through cultural events to awaken interest in our African-American heritage
